Key accounting role supporting the financial reporting and budgeting process.

This high profile not-for-profit organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking, reviewing and maintaining reconciliations, financial administration and controls to provide highly effective, accurate and reliable financial information.

More specifically, your key duties will include:

• Support the preparation of the yearly budget and assist with annual audits
• General Ledger maintenance and journal preparation
• Responsible for reconciliations including bank account, balance sheet, and accounts receivable ledger
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and month end close process
• BAS preparation

Ideally, CA/CPA qualified or working toward, you will have high-level communication skills, strong attention to detail and be self-motivated. Excellent MS Excel spreadhsheet skills required.
