Accountant / Assistant Accountant

Australian Portable Camps is a South Australian based, vertically integrated manufacturer, operating throughout Australia. We are one of the leading Australian provider of innovative modular building solutions aimed to meet specific needs for mining, construction industry, and oil & gas projects. 

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join the team at our unique facility in MONARTO SOUTH (70kms southeast of Adelaide, near Murray Bridge).

About the Role

• Preparation of month end financial information and the execution of financial accounting functions and support to our Finance Team. 
• Preparation of GL journals including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, inventory, and trial balance reconciliations.
• Responsible for preparation of BAS, IAS returns.
• Prepare month-end close and enter transactions for group entities, manage intercompany transactions, prepare cross-charges, reconciliation, netting, and analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Assist implementation process of our ERP system ( Oracle JD Edwards)
