We are an established accounting practice that offers taxation and business advisory services. For over 20 years, we have built a strong and long standing clientele both locally and all over Australia. We are looking for an Experienced Public Practice Accountant that can fulfill a number of roles and responsibilities that will help assist our clients with various accounting and taxation matters.

Tasks & responsibilities

Duties will include:

• Preparation of financial statements 
• Preparation of BAS's and IAS's
• Preparation of income tax returns
• Assisting with preparation of financial reports
• Preparing month end and year-end closing
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card transactions and loan books
• Inter company transactions
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• General Ledger
• Application of your knowledge of income tax and GST concepts 

Qualifications & experience

• Degree/certificate level qualification
• Must be experienced with MYOB ESSENTIALS ACCOUNTING PLUS
• Experience with preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a variety of entity types
• Engaging personality that is friendly and approachable 
• Motivated to learn and work
• The ability to multi-task and remain flexible 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
