The Position

This client-facing role is perfect for someone who is hungry for client interaction on a daily basis and for someone who really is looking to broaden their scope in terms of the commercial conversations. This role is a great chance to not only utilise your experience within public practice to aid them with general accounting related matters but make a significant impact on the client's businesses.

The key areas of focus will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns for a range of clients across various sectors – Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trusts, Companies, Groups, SMSF’s
• Liaising with & providing accurately & timely advice to clients on a range of business matters
• Providing technical advice on various tax issues including division 7A and capital gains tax
• Providing strategies to clients in relation to budgeting, tax planning & cash flow planning

  
The Candidate

The perfect candidate for this role will be someone who adopts a winning mindset, someone who is proactive and has a high level of emotional intelligence and who also enjoys building solid, long-term relationships.
On paper experience would include:

• 3+ years of Accounting experience in public practices
• CA/CPA quals or currently studying
• Relevant degree qualifications
• Experience utilising a variety of accounting software programs
• Exceptional presentation skills and a high level of commercial acumen
• Good communicator
