The team

Business Services works closely with businesses and family groups, advising on accounting and compliance right through to developing personalised strategies for business growth, acquisitions, divestments and succession.

Business Services is driven by ideas, people and trust. We value our strong client relationships and providing exceptional client service, delivered by our team.

You will work closely with our partners and your colleagues in a supportive and rewarding work environment. As a team member within our Business Services team, you will be mentored by our leaders, developing your knowledge and skill set in both compliance and advisory services.

Key selection criteria

To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the business advisory or private clients field;
  • Degree qualified in commerce, accounting or equivalent;
  • Eligible for membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia or an equivalent professional body;
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of income tax in both consulting and compliance for SME privately owned groups as well as high net-worth families;
  • Strong accounting and taxation compliance focus;
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge in taxation and business advisory;
  • Working experience with cloud based accounting and taxation software;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills together with sound interpersonal skills including judgement and tact.
