Responsibilities in this role include:

· Providing  support to the Company Accountant

· Preparing monthly management reports

· Overseeing payroll (backing up as required)

· Fixed Asset management

· FBT, GST, PAYE

· Monthly and yearly reconciliations

· Assisting across month end and year end audits

· Ad Hoc duties and project work as required

· Providing support on the dealer management system

Who are we looking for:

• Two+ years Accounting experience in a commercial environment or CA firm
• Hold a Tertiary qualification in Accounting
• An Accountant who know their way around a trial balance
• The ability to pick tasks up quickly with the ability to recommend process improvements as they arise
• A positive attitude with a sound knowledge of accounting principle’s giving you the ability to apply your technical knowledge to issues as they arise
• Accounting system knowledge and proven ability to drive improvements
• Commercial financial or management accounting experience
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 
• Experience in preparing management and year end accounts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to widely support other team members
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
