Self Care Corporation is an Australian owned company located in North Sydney.

We are looking for someone with experience as an Accountant who is looking for a permanent, long term role. This role will be working very closely with the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities include:

1. Month end processes including reconciliations, journals, and accruals
2. Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
3. Prepare variance analysis
4. Complete and lodge ATO Activity Statements
5. Manage the cashflow on a weekly basis
6. Assist AP/AR functions
7. Assist with the budget and forecasting processes
8. Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register, including asset additions, disposals and depreciation
9. Assisting with audit procedures and internal and external reporting requirements
10. Liaise with bank managers regarding funding issues, bank administrative requirements
11. Assist with other adhoc duties

Requirements we are seeking include:

•Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
•Proficiency in Netsuite or similar ERP system (essential)
•Advanced Excel skills
•High level written & oral English language skills
•Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
•Strong eye for detail.
•Great customer service and time management
•A self starter with the ability to work autonomously
•Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Strong organisational skills
•Positive “can do” attitude

A remuneration package commensurate with experience will be agreed with the successful candidate.
