SAMTAY is an Australian privately-owned group of companies established in 2014. The company can trace its origins through the Davis family businesses back to 1992.

SAMTAY operates as a proprietary family office and advisory, managing the interests of the Davis family. 

The organisation is structured around a central administrative core that provides management and infrastructure support for the Group and family members. 

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Monthly reconciliation of bank statements to MYOB
• Accounts payable
• Company secretarial duties
• GST & BAS lodgement
• Payroll management (4 people)

About You

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working as an in-house accountant.
• You enjoy working closely with others and fostering lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience using MYOB essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working with external clients.
• You will need to have a high attention to detail and be self-driven
• A positive attitude and enjoy bringing value to a small, close team
• Company secretarial experience is ideal but not essential.
