Eurofins Finance Team is responsible for accounting functions of 25 Eurofins companies across Australia and New Zealand

 

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be part of a dedicated finance team with varied financial and reporting responsibilities for small to medium size legal entities in Australian and New Zealand.

  • Completing monthly general ledger reconciliation including journals for accruals, adjustments, etc.
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register and monitor capex spend.
  • Monthly financial reporting and variance analysis to agreed deadlines (reporting on Day 4).
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and year end reporting in Cognos and TM1.
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts and treasury management.
  • Preparation of yearly budget with close collaboration with finance business partner.
  • Preparation and lodgment BAS, PAYG and assisting tax accountants for FBT and Income tax.
  • Assisting external auditors on year end audits and providing information for statutory accounts preparation.
  • Supervise and management of expense claims using Concur expense management tool.
  • Liaise with transaction processing team – A/R, A/P, Purchasing and payroll.
  • Ensure financial practices are line with company policy and statutory requirements.

 

Qualifications

As an important role within the Eurofins Finance Team, the following selection criteria are essential for success:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
  • 5 + years Accounting experience.
  • Post degree qualification (CPA) or near completion is essential.
  • Practice as well as Industry experience preferred.
  • MYOB Advanced experience preferable.
  • Very accurate and high level of numeracy capability.
  • Hands on attitude, willing to help with a wide variety of tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork ethic as well as able to work in autonomy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.
