Accountant

TP Human Capital is currently recruiting for an Accountant to work with our locally based Townsville client. The aim of this role is to oversee the day to day financial management of the business including

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Developing business and operational plans
• Preparation of management and financial reports
• Assist with analysis of information

Position requirements

• Experience with Government accounting will be highly regarded
• Exposure to the acquittal accounting will be highly regarded
• HR and ICT experience will be highly regarded
• Previous experience in a corporate financial environment
• Tertiary qualification(s) in accounting
• Extensive practical experience in accounting -based software programs
• Agile and a willingness to rearrange priorities as and when needed
• Analytically focused, self-motivated and ready for the challenges of a fast-paced environment
• Sound knowledge of business administration and office procedures
