We are looking for a really capable accounts administrator who loves to pick up and run with new systems to step in and support the accounts processing for a busy Financial Controller in a very effective business model.

This role could see you immediately being part of a small yet highly capable and friendly team. Our client’s business has expanded rapidly over eight years, across successful online distribution and retail channels. Their HQ and production hub are nestled right here in Hastings. As they continue to grow, they need some more support in their finance and administration function. This brand-new role at circa 30 hours per week could be the role that will keep you busy and have some life balance as well.  They are known for looking after their people.

Your core area of responsibility is to support the Financial Controller and your peers with a range of financial accounts administration processing functions such as AR, AP, monthly debtor reports, as well as reconciliations for GST and, PAYE. You will also be involved in assisting the payroll preparation. 

In addition to the full Microsoft Suite, these guys and girls use Xero, Shopify and Vend, and so are fully equipped with modern systems technology.  There is lots of variety and opportunity to grow here too.  The hours are ideally spread over Monday to Friday.  

This is an ideal role for someone who has solid NZ Accounts Administration experience, and could even be to trial balance, yet not essential. You will have a definite “head for numbers“"and be right at home using modern accounting software like Xero, as well as Excel.  It goes without saying that you are naturally super organized, accurate and enjoy working in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.  A supportive team awaits to ensure you are successful in this brand-new role.
