About the position and you:

Support our general accounting function with your expertise in Accounts payable and Account receivable tasks. This position would suit someone who is financially astute, loves technology and is motivated and driven to make a difference improving financial processes.  Being a key member of our finance team, we will look to you to support our wider finance function and ensure the accurate processing of our reconciliation and reporting while assisting the general running of our office space.

 

This role is full time permanent role working across Monday to Friday. 

 

In this role you will: 

  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing customer refunds when applicable
  • Maintaining accurate information and data in all accounts systems
  • Record and bookkeeping
  • Supporting the bank reconciliation processes and month end processing
  • Supporting end of month financial reporting
  • Educate business operations as to correct financial transaction processing to minimise errors
  • Completing tasks with adherence to deadlines
  • Office administration tasks including staff purchases.
  • Trustworthy and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Sound computer skills – Microsoft suite.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work. 
  • Outcome driven, with ability to exceed role expectation. 

Desired skills and experience:

  • Accounting, commerce or related degree preferable
  • High attention to detail
  • Trustworthy and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Sound computer skills – Microsoft suite.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work. 
  • Outcome driven, with ability to exceed role expectation.
