Ausmar Homes are currently seeking an Accounts Administrator to assist in our Accounts department.

This highly rewarding and challenging role will be based within our state of the art Headquarters in Maroochydore. As an Accounts Administrator you are responsible for the processing of accounts in an efficient and timely manner. Accounts staff must be able to operate commercial accounting software and show an understanding of basic accounting principles. It is imperative to the role that accounts staff have strong time management skills in order to reach strict deadlines on a consistent basis. The candidate should have a high level of professionalism and be able to abide by strict confidentiality guidelines.

Reporting to the Team Leader, your role will include:

  • High volume data entry.
  • Reconciliation of supplier and sub-contractor accounts.
  • Reconciliation of company credit card statements.
  • Pre-reconciliation of weekly and monthly accounts.
  • Liaising with staff and suppliers regarding invoices and payment schedules.
  • Raising all client final claim letters for practical completion and final variations.
  • General administration duties such as filing and scanning.

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess Construction administration/accounts experience.
  • Have knowledge of & experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Experience with Databuild software.  
  • Show precision, accuracy & good eye for detail.
  • A good ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
  • Be proactive & organised.
  • Possess advanced communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Show flexibility and be able to adapt to any situation.
  • Strong initiative.
  • A good ability to focus.
  • Work well within a team and autonomously.
