Reporting to the Project & Accounts Manager and working closely with the Senior Accounts Administrator, this role will have a key focus on accounts administration but will also provide support to the wider projects team.

Using both Xero and Workflow Max you will be responsible for the following;

  • Accurate and timely data entry of accounts payable invoices
  • Creation of accounts receivable invoices
  • Managing the accounts team inbox
  • Receipting goods against purchase orders and organising payments
  • Following up on purchase order queries and discrepancies
  • Reconciling financial statements
  • Monitoring consultant commission sheets and creating monthly reports
  • Reviewing coding in Xero and updating the General Ledger where required
  • Assisting the projects team with quoting, account set up and ensuring spreadsheets are up to date
  • Any general office administration duties as required i.e. stationary orders, kitchen supplies, banking and post collection.

To be successful in this role you will need previous experience in office administration where you have been responsible for the accurate data entry of invoices using Xero or a similar accounting system. You will be proficient using MS Office including Excel. You may be looking for the opportunity to build on your accounts knowledge while still having the variety of duties a role like this can offer. You will have a high level of attention to detail, a strong and effective style of communication and a flexible working style. We would like to hear from energetic and positive people with a high degree of maturity who are able to remain calm under pressure and maintain confidentiality at all times. A full and clean NZ drivers licence is required for this role.
