Our fast paced family business based in Bayswater requires an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Administrator to join our growing team commencing early April 2021. 

Our Company manages forklift sales, short and long-term forklift rentals, forklift parts and servicing.

Reporting directly to the Manager this full-time position encompasses the following duties and responsibilities: -

  • Bank account reconciliations
  • End to end accounts receivable and payable
  • Time sheets and payroll
  • Supporting the Manager, Technicians and Administrators to meet customer response time and service commitments
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as required
  • Follow and maintain procedures

The successful applicant will have:-

  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Must have previous experience in all aspects of receivables and payables
  • Must have previous payroll experience
  • Previous experience using Xero account software is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where priorities can change quickly
  • Ability to pick up new duties quickly and work independently
  • An excellent eye for detail and the ability to communicate with team members, suppliers and contractors in order to solve any problem
  • A strong desire to work in a collaborative team and assist with additional administrative tasks as required
  • Previous experience in the Automotive Industry is highly desirable but not essential
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and professional approach with a can do attitude and drive to succeed with business objectives
  • Sound organisational and administrative skills
  • Reliable and own transport
  • Hours 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday
  • You must have the right to work in Australia to apply for this position
  • Wages negotiable based upon experience
