We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Administration Clerk to join our accounts payable team at Eagers Automotive based in Newstead.

The main job function is accounts payable; however, at times you may be asked to provide accounts and administration support to the several dealerships that we support in our shared services department.

The duties of this role may include but are not limited to:

  • Process creditor invoices for payment.
  • Maintain the company‚Äôs accounts payable web portal.
  • Reconcile monthly creditor statements.
  • Completing supplier credit applications.
  • Prepare summaries of creditors reconciliations at month-end.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of vehicle payouts in observance of expiry dates, balanced contract, clear PPSR and valid payout letter.
  • Processing of EFTs and cheques as required.
  • Provide ad-hoc relieve for reception call centre where required.
  • Liaising and maintaining relationships with suppliers and employees.
  • A variety of other automotive administration tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products
  • Strong working knowledge of a general ledger and balancing accounts

Previous experience in a dealership or in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
