Accounts Assistant – ZIB Digital, Melbourne

What are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a diligent Accountants Assistant to join our growing finance team on a part-time basis, potential for full-time down the track.

At Zib we have set our own personal standards very high and therefore would require the same of the successful candidate.

What is the focus of the role?

As Accounts Assistant you will be involved in all areas “finance” some of your core duties will include (but not limited to):

• Assist in Month End accounting procedures and report preparation
• Daily bank reconciliations 
• Process invoices (receivable and payable) 
• Assisting in Payroll and Payables processing, fortnightly.
• Ad-hoc administrative duties
• Managing accounts email - Customer service and correspondence
• Reconcile intercompany balances  
• Processing invoices and payables related to Franchisees
• Liaising with building management on new employee setup  
• Stock and Stationery ordering

What skills do you need?

• Accounting knowledge or suitable tertiary/ technical qualification
• 2 years + experience in similar finance roles
• Experience in Xero a must
• Highly driven, have the ability to multitask with an attention to detail
• Strong Excel computer skills
• An Outgoing “can do” personality and flexible, collaborative approach to work

Where in the world would I be based?

This role is located at ZIB Group head office in Cremorne, Melbourne reporting to the ZIB Group CFO and Accounts Manager
