Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private mental health and general medical hospital, located across from the Robina public hospital.  

Currumbin Clinic is a 104 bed mental health facility and regarded as the centre for excellence in mental health on the Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will join the team responsible for entering supplier invoices, validating patients health fund coverage prior to admission, timely and efficient billing to health funds, DVA & Workers Compensation bodies, a wide variety of administration tasks, adhering to health fund contract obligations, end of month deadlines, and providing exceptional customer service.

Experience & Personal Attributes

• Accounts Payable and banking/ reconciliation – minimum 3 years’ experience
• Experience in billing within the health care industry
• Knowledge of health fund contracts highly regarded
• Experience with debt collection
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Oracle, WebPAS and Eclipse highly regarded
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Display and mentor professional behavior
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• The ability to multi task and work in a fast passed environment is a must
• Positive attitude and caring approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient and competent coding and entering of supplier invoices
• Responding to creditors queries in a timely manner
• Records management and filing
• Cash handling/reconciliation, reconciliation of bank accounts
• Liaising with health funds, customers and third parties
• Interpreting health fund contracts
• Ensuring all required documentation for accurate and efficient health fund billing
• Health fund & DVA billing
• Monitoring of patient accounts

As the department services both our Currumbin and Robina sites, you will be required to work at either location as per the business requirements.
