AVI provides technology-based solutions to government, mining, defence and corporate communities.  We offer design, development, fabrication and through life support for mission-critical system and are recognized internationally for our products and services. 

We are looking for a high calibre candidate to fill this position, this role will be delivering the full suite of day to day Finance / Accounts services for the organisation.  Your tasks will include the following:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
• Intercompany transactions
• Processing bank/credit card transactions and reconciliations
• Creditor payments and reconciliations - Local and International
• Assist with month-end preparation
• Analysis of Financial position and execution of foreign exchange transactions 
• Assist with office administration

The successful applicant should possess:  

• 2 years + Finance / Accounts experience
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics highly desirable 
• Australian residency is also a requirement for this position
• Accurate, methodical & highly organised approach to work tasks and ability to take ownership of assigned jobs
• Foreign currency knowledge
• Clear, open, honest and timely communication
• Ability to prioritise between multiple tasks
• A current national police clearance is a pre-requisite for engagement with AVI and on-going employment may be the subject to obtaining and maintaining AGSVA baseline clearances
• A positive, motivated and pro-active attitude
