We are a Chartered Accounting practice located in the CBD with a diverse client base.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer / Book Keeper to join our growing practice. The role is required to manage the day to day accounts function of 2-3 of our global clients, and support our corporate team in fulfilling client commitments. 

The candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with knowledge of general ledger maintenance and performing multiple reconciliations for management and financial accounting purposes. Along with exposure to inventory system management; reconciliation of intercompany transactions and BAS & IAS preparation;

Also candidates are required to:

• Be TAFE qualified or Certificate IV in accounting;
• Excellent communication skills;
• High proficiency in Excel and Office products;
• High proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks accounting software.
• Work within the business to manage deadlines and compliance requirements;
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment;
• Liaise with clients to effectively manage job flow and progression;
• Be involved in ongoing development and training.

Candidates should be aware that this role entails a high transactional work load of bookkeeping across multiple clients and businesses. 

Salary: Up to $65,000 package based on level of experience and attributes. 

This is a 6 month temp role to begin with which we expect to become permanent in line with the growing needs of the business.
