We are currently seeking an Accounts Officer to join our busy team located in Hope Valley for an immediate start, on a full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for the right person who is willing to learn and gain valuable experience in the Steel / Construction industry. Steel knowledge will be highly regarded.

Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Timely processing of invoices and statements
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Debt collections and reporting on overdue accounts
• Daily bank receipting / reconciliations 
• Following up accounts queries by working with other departments and customers
• Other accounts / administrative duties as required

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Accurate data entry & calculations
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
• Reliable and punctual
