About the Role

This role is part of the Finance team reporting to the CFO. You will work with teams across multiple departments and be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial administrative tasks.

This role will suit an individual who is self driven, striving for continuous improvement, and prides being a team and individual contributor towards the growth path of the business.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Accounts Payable processes, including the setup of new supplier accounts, entering purchase orders and invoices into the accounting system – Xero
  • Full Accounts Payable reconciliation including supplier statements.
  • Accounts Receivable function including sending out invoices, setting up new customer accounts, chasing payments and any other duties as requested by Finance Team.
  • Knowledge in General ledger maintenance.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance team & the Board.

To succeed, you will need:

  • Accounting degree/ Certificate in Accounting. 
  • Minimum 2 years+ experience – especially in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or other generic Finance Administrator roles.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable to communicate to all levels whether internal stakeholders across the business and externally with customers.
  • Knowledge of Xero would be a strong plus.
  • Proficient in the use of MS office and strong excel skills would be favourable
  • Knowledge of billings processes and other basic finance and accounting principles.
