ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND FINANCE OFFICER

The role is based at our Campbelltown Head Office with onsite parking and in walking distance to public transport.

THE ROLE 

We are searching for an experiencing Accounts Payable and Finance Officer, committed to 30 hours per week across four days, Monday-Friday.

The AP & Finance Officer is a driven and enthusiastic individual who is focused on providing support across Accounts Payable and Finance. This includes the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function, reviewing and processing of stock and overhead invoices, managing supplier queries, preparing payment schedules and maintaining ledger accuracy & integrity. This individual will also play a role in delivery of key Finance projects, and provide assistance with other finance ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be a driven individual who is focused on accurate and efficient data entry and ensuring a high level of service is consistently provided to suppliers and internal stakeholders. They will work within a team to support the Accounts Payable Supervisor in the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable department.

The successful candidate will effectively contribute to the success of the business by:

  • Reviewing and processing a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Liaising with local and international suppliers to address queries
  • Preparing payment schedules
  • Maintaining ledger accuracy & integrity
  • Month-end requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following abilities, skills and expertise: 

  • Experience working in a full function Accounts Payable or Finance role (3+ years)
  • Ability to input and process invoices quickly and accurately
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent level of computer literacy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
