About the Role

Based at our Melbourne Head Office, the Accounts Payable Officer ANZ is an integral role of our Finance team and the wider business. Reporting to our Finance Controller ANZ, the Accounts Payable Officer ANZ has the core responsibility of processing payments to ensure that vendor invoices are posted on time, accurately and in the proper accounting period for Essity in Australia and New Zealand.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Coding and data entry of invoices into the general ledger

• Matching purchase orders and processing invoices

• Processing payment runs from SAP and Syteline

• Process payment file for Intercompany payments in CoProcess

• Assist Financial Accountant with Inter Company Balancing

• May handle enquiries from external and internal clients

• Process employee expense reimbursements

• Filing invoice payment documents

• Emailing remittance advices

• Investigating and correcting differences between POs and Invoices

• Investigating and correcting differences in Inter Company invoices

• Overseeing part time assistant with clerical duties

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have a high level of self-drive, a positive attitude and a collaborative approach to their work, whilst also representing our global beliefs and behaviours of courage, commitment, collaboration and care.

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

• Prior experience in a similar role

• Ability to be both detail oriented and also focus on big picture process improvements and issue resolution

• Familiar with large ERPs such as SAP

• Stakeholder engagement skills

• Problem solving skills

• Fluent in English

• IT Savvy
