The opportunity…

Device Technologies are seeking a full time Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance Team in our Belrose office. The successful applicant will thrive in a busy fast-paced office environment.    

This is an opportunity to join a team of high preforming and friendly Accounts Payable Officers reporting to the AP Team Leader. 

The responsibilities of the Accounts Payable officer will include the following

• Organising supplier payments in different currencies by using best exchange rates and hedges.
• Process prepayments and intercompany transfers.
• Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements.
• Following up outstanding issues with suppliers & internal customers.
• Overseeing the company credit card system (ProMaster) and organising internal audits of expense claims.
• Management and administration of Company Fuel Cards system, ProMaster system and Company Credit Cards.
• Month end review and reporting process by uploading credit card expenses, travelling expenses, accrued expenses and other month end process in SAP.
• Adept with all assigned month-end processes Assisting in bank reconciliations.
• Processing purchase invoices for suppliers into SAP.
• General ledger coding.
• Proactively ensure compliance with all auditing requirements and attend to audit.

Experience required:

• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Suitable Tertiary Qualification.
• Team player with a strong work ethic, initiative and integrity.
• Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and SAP
