Accounts Payable Officer

Experience in a fast paced and high volume role and attention to detail with accuracy is required in this end to end Accounts Payable position.

Reporting to the Asset Management Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

Accurately process and conduct payment of non material and non trade supplier invoices;
Effectively manage the day to day responsibilities of the Overhead Accounts Payable function;
Generate payments upon request or within a 24 hour period;
Ensure all invoices are received including: checking off invoices to statements, locate any missing invoices, obtain authorisation for all invoices;
Accurately answer all queries in a timely and professional manner;
Ensure all overhead EFT’s/Cheques are scanned in the appropriate location on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in end to end Accounts Payable function is a MUST;
Experience within a fast paced working environment;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and volume;
Accurate data entry, allocation and reporting skills with a high attention to detail;
Ability to meet set deadlines with a high quality standard of work;
Ability to confidently liaise with all levels of management in a professional and confident manner;
Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer skills and exposure working with database systems; and
A proactive approach to all tasks undertaken within a dynamic financial environment.

This role requires a national police check and medical check to be undertaken
