The Role Overview

Our client is a large scale reputable business with high profile projects in blue chip locations across Melbourne. They are looking for an Accounts Payable/ Finance Officer to join the team and assist with the AP process and some other transactional duties including banking and Accounts Receivables. This is a newly created role started on a 6 month fixed term basis and high potential for permanent.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance manager, and working apart of a team the duties will include:

• Match, batch and code supplier invoices
• High volume AP processing
• Creditor maintenance and invoicing queries
• Process and prepare supplier payments
• Reconcile creditor accounts
• Accounts Recievables details and banking
• Assist with process improvements as it relates to AP and system
• Banking duties and some Accounts Receivable duties
• Suppliers invoices and queries

To be considered for this role;

• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
• High volume processing
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Interest taking on other finance duties
• Experience working on a ERP system

The Ideal candidate:

You will enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and work closely with external suppliers regularly. A proactive and positive approach to your work as well as prior experience in the property or construction sector is highly desirable.
