Due to our continued success and growth, we are seeking a motivated “Accounts Payable Officer”  to join our very successful “Finance Team”. Reporting to the “Team Leader” you are expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, great attention to detail and previous experience in a similar role.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Entry of accounts payable invoices
• Reconciliation of invoices/statements  
• Accurate processing and data entry of up to 120 invoices daily
• Payment run (EFT/cheque)
• Attending to internal/external accounts enquiries
• Involvement in the end of month processes

Key qualities of successful applicant will include:

• Previous accounts payable experience minimum 2 years
• A good mind for numbers and attention to detail is a must!
• Excellent communication skills, commitment to customer service and ability to meet strict deadlines
• The ability to work autonomously when necessary and well within a team
• Excellent attention to detail with proficiency in data entry and management
• Intermediate to Advance Excel Skills are necessary
