About the Role

Due to continual growth, we are on the lookout for a proficient Accounts Payable Officer / Receptionist to provide high quality client service to customers and to assist to the Finance team with basic accounting duties. This is an opportunity to truly make the role your own and be apart of our passionate Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO.

Our ideal candidate is extremely motivated, displays self-initiative, and has proven experience as a Accounts Payable Officer / Receptionist. Your attention to detail is flawless, you have well developed analytical skills, are happy to take direction and you work well both within a team and autonomously.

Your Responsibilities

  • General Receptionist duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, responding to correspondence;
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Assist the Finance Team with basic accounting functions;
  • Matching, batching and coding of Supplier invoices;
  • Acquiring invoice approvals from the relevant managers before posting invoices into the system;
  • Complete accounts payable function
  • Liaising with suppliers on any invoicing queries, payment timing and discrepancies;
  • Adhoc tasks where required.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage;
  • Industry background in construction will be looked upon favourably;
  • Excellent time management, high attention to detail and organisational skills within a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to problem solve and show initiative;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Outgoing and team-focused;
  • A strong team player who is happy to offer support when required;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a successful team;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
