The role

RACV’s CFO’s Division provides financial expertise to support RACV in its achievement of the corporate strategy and business initiatives whilst delivering professional expertise in accounting and financial services to ensure the continued success of RACV.

Reporting to the Head of Acquisitions Integration, the Acquisitions Integration Specialist role sits within the Acquisitions Integration Office (AIO) of the CFO Division. We are seeking an Acquisitions Integration Specialist to support the delivery of a wide range of projects related to the strategic objectives of merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions. The projects are likely to be diverse and enterprise wide, requiring you to partner closely with stakeholders across the business.

 

A day in the life

The Acquisitions Integration Specialist will play a significant role in contributing to all of the AIO’s priorities and agendas, including supporting the operational execution of RACV’s M&A activities, developing best practices, utilising robust and repeatable integration framework and playbook, establishing and driving a Shared Services as a Service agenda and other ad hoc business critical projects.

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Support all of RACV’s M&A transactions by contributing to operational due diligence through to integration/separation/business restructure planning: day 1 readiness and first 100 day planning
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans to achieve agreed deliverables, project measures & business outcomes
  • Work with workstream leads and stakeholders to identify key deliverables and agreement on timelines, costs and outcomes as required
  • Ensure projects adhere to budget, timeframe and quality guidelines
  • Manage project progress, including holding weekly status reporting meetings with workstream leads
  • Facilitate the delivery of necessary workshops, stand ups, steering committees and other sessions to support the successful delivery of the project
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the program to ensure the established integration practices and approaches are leveraged and further developed
  • Support the development of materials as necessary to promote and gain endorsement for plans, projects and initiatives within the AIO’s remit
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as they arise

 

About You

You are proficient in project management techniques and methodologies and can easily manage, prioritise and adapt to competing deadlines.

Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills along with your collaborative and consultative approach will see you confidently influence and manage stakeholders across various levels of the organisation.

You have a passion for problem solving, with ideas that challenge the ordinary, together with the drive­ and the determination to bring them to life.

 

We’re looking for…

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Project Delivery/ Management,
  • General business acumen
  • Demonstrated experience across the merger and acquisition lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience in post-merger/acquisition integration planning and delivery
  • Experience with outsourcing shared services
  • A proficient MS Excel and PowerPoint user
