About the Role The Asset Information Support Officer assists the Asset Information Officer in collection, recording and reporting of ‘As Constructed’ data as well as creation / management of spatial datasets. The position is accountable for ensuring delivery of asset plan requests within two business days as well as supplying mapping products and reports to internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide quality and timely spatial data products to internal and external customers. As a requirement of the role, you will: With continuous improvement a focus of this role, you will assist the team to provide job rotation or assistance during peak periods or approved leave. About you Ideally, the successful candidate will be vocationally qualified in Geographic Information Systems or possess experience, expertise and competency relating to the role. As an Asset Management professional, you are well-versed in Asset Management Systems, operating GIS software in a Windows environment and also in property systems. Your skillset in other computer applications and databases including the Microsoft Suite and Electronic Data Record Management, is essential to your success. With your ‘can do’ attitude, you will be self-motivated to provide exceptional customer service through various mediums including verbally and via standard business correspondence. Outstanding interpersonal & time management abilities to remain customer focused and be a team player, are critical to this position.
