This is a very busy role with high volumes of data entry and a large payroll that the right candidate will be responsible for.  However it also involves process upgrades and team member retraining to ensure they meet the current and future requirements of our growing business.

This position is based in our head office in the south of Brisbane, however we have offices around Australia.  The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and Managing Director.

Role requirements include:

• Data Entry
• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Large Payroll
• Statutory requirements for payroll
• Monthly general ledger account reconciliations/assisting with month end processes
• Assisting with management reporting and dashboards
• Assist in the roll out of new IT systems across the group
• You will have 3+ years in the CONSTRUCTION industry accounting, be generally proficient with IT systems and specific proficiency in Excel and MYOB accounting software
• Job Costing and BCIPA experience highly desirable
• You will also have or be studying a bachelors degree in accounting and/or business
