What you’ll do:

The main purpose of the Assistant Accountant role is to further enhance the reputation of group finance by providing excellent service within the company, as well as our external vendors. Manage the general ledger function to ensure all requirements are fulfilled in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.

 

Duties will predominantly revolve around tasks within treasury (cash investing/wire payments etc.), bank reconciliations, analysis & month end responsibilities.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in an accounts assistant type role
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability in communicating with stakeholders at all levels

 

Extra points for any of the following:

  • Experience with Oracle R12 Cash Management
