Reporting to the Group Accountant, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team and help manage the daily financial activities of the schools within our group.

What can you expect from the role?

• Maintaining accounting and student financial recording systems
• Liaising with institutions to establish Trust management and drawing functions
• Administering accounts receivable and payable system
• Preparing weekly or monthly reports.
• Supporting the audit process.
• Assisting the finance team with monthly accounts preparation.
• Assisting account reconciliations.
• Ensuring office equipment and supplies are maintained

About you . . . 

• Be tertiary qualified in Accounting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial reporting
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn
• Have strong computer skills and be proficient in MYOB, MYOB payroll and Excel
• Experience working in the Education sector a distinct advantage
