My Client is a growing Australian transport and logistics provider with an impressive history, they are seeking an up and coming Assistant Accountant to join their highly motivated and dedicated team within their head office in Sydney.

This position is an integral part of their team, you must have an exceptional work ethic with a desire for best practice and excellence.

The role will be responsible for day-to-day accounting duties which will include but are not limited to, accounts payable and receivable, GL, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Profit and Loss Analysis, Weekly and Monthly reporting. Assisting with month-end procedures, and additional general administrative tasks as required.

To be considered for the position you will possess the following skills and experience:

• 2 years experience working within a similar position 
• Degree qualified and working towards obtaining a CPA / CA
• Exceptional organisation and time management skills with high attention to detail
• Current and valid full NSW drivers license with own reliable transport 
• High level of technology-based experience 
• Intermediate Excel / Microsoft Office experience 
• A positive and motivated attitude to work
