As a company that specialises in steel distribution, the Southern Steel Group is in a unique position to meet all the supply requirements of the steel and engineering industry. We operate nationally and have a number of branches around Australia with approximately 1100 employees.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and highly driven individual to assist the Accountancy function across all our WA businesses.

Located in Welshpool, this role will report directly to the WA Accountant.

Primarily, you will be responsible for assisting with providing accurate, timely information on the financial position of the business and to provide input into areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Diploma qualified Accountant
• A solid background in accountancy
• Computing skills - mainframe and MS Office
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

This role would ideally suit a focused and driven individual who likes to take ownership in their role. Being a team player will ensure your success in this role.
