Assistant/Junior Accountant

Our client is a leading Agribusiness based in the Toowoomba area. Current, sustained levels of growth combined with new business ventures, have led to the need for an Assistant/Junior Accountant to become part of their close knit team. Your skills will be utilised in:

• Month end reconciliations, reports & journals
• Fixed asset management
• CAPEX reporting
• Regulatory compliance including BAS, FBT and Income tax returns 
• General Ledger maintenance
• Banking & cash management
• Banks reconciliations
• Assistance to admin, AP/AR when required.

To contend for this role you will:

• Have recently completed or currently working towards an accounting degree
• Have prior experience in accounting/admin preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication, time and organisational qualities
• Proficient in MS products especially Excel
• Be comfortable working as a team member or independently
