KPMG Lighthouse provides an exciting and challenging environment, which enables our global specialist knowledge to offer clients a variety of data and analytics related services. Assignments are often managed on a multi-disciplinary basis using the skills and experience of advisors from more than one service line.
The opportunity:
- This senior leadership role is focused on shaping and building the Lighthouse team, whilst contributing to growth through identification and acquisition of new business, building networks and relationships, and promoting the services of KPMG as a whole.
Day to day you will:
- Manage client portfolios on large engagements, including engagements that are increasingly complex in nature with some multi-disciplinary elements
- Be an adept translator, translating business requirements into technical deliverables
- Engage with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and the ability to identify and seize opportunities to enhance revenue
- Manage a broad range of people (at different levels), from across service lines outside of their technical area of expertise
- Identify and proactively respond to new business opportunities including cross functional opportunities to provide added value to clients
- A positive and flexible attitude and an enthusiasm to embrace new challenges and growth opportunities to gain experience
What you'll bring to our team:
- 7+ years of relevant advisory/consulting experience preferred or experience gained in a government agency
- Relevant qualification in Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or another quantitative field
- Experience with analytic data warehouses, ETL, Business Intelligence and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake, Matillion)
- Experience with hypothesis testing, statistical modelling and advanced analytical / AI techniques
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work with cross functional teams to translate business issues into potential analytics solutions
- Demonstrated ability in business development including being able to market self and attract new clients to the firm
- Long-term experience and a proven record of accomplishment in the overall management and leadership of staff both as a team and in terms of their technical work
