About the Role:

Our client is a well-known top ASX listed organisation which is a Market Leader in their field. They are looking for a corporate accountant to join a high performing finance function. With career progression across the group team and several business units they are a fantastic organisation to begin your commercial career in.

The Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of the finance function with responsibility across financial accounting & analysis, group reporting as well as ad-hoc project work.
• Business partnering with internal stakeholders in driving month-end reporting;
• Group budgeting and forecasting with supporting analysis and commentary;
• Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting in line with the ASX timeline;
• Consolidation of business unit reporting across global entities;
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts; and
• Accounting advisory & ad-hoc project work.

The successful applicant with have:

You will be an experienced finance professional looking to make your first move from Big 4 audit or tax.

You will have strong technical accounting skills, with expertise in statutory reporting, governance, compliance and controls. Being able to partner within the finance function and wider business is critical, therefore you must be a strong communicator at all levels.
