Within the context of the responsibilities described under ‘your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Knowledge and experience in electronic and/or mechanical technologies, general engineering and other technologies associated with health technology equipment. Ability to apply established methods and procedures in completing routine technical tasks (such as the installation, maintenance and development of health technology or similar equipment) as well as ability to complete more complex tasks under the guidance of more experienced practitioners. Willingness to provide guidance and support to students and less experienced practitioners. High level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders/clients under the direction of more senior practitioners. Commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement. Honesty, integrity and respect for all staff, clients and other health care workers.
