Betta Blinds and Awnings is an award winning, friendly, family owned, successful and fast growing manufacturer / wholesaler on the Sunshine Coast, supplying quality window furnishings to retail and other businesses throughout Queensland, N.S.W and Victoria  

We are seeking a highly talented mature bookkeeper with a strong professional work ethic to become part of our friendly team and contribute to the smooth running of our busy office.

The ideal applicant must possess at least 5 years recent experience in a similar bookkeeping and accounts role, be well organised and very efficient with a high attention to detail.  

Experience Required:

We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic fast learner who is qualified in bookkeeping and accounts roles, customer service and administration duties with the confidence and ability to problem solve customer issues with a broad experience on computer platforms.

Must have a great work history and references

Experience and Skills:

  • Very accurate and efficient computer and keyboard skills: Excel, Outlook, Word, MYOB or other accounting software.
  • Payroll 40-50 staff
  • BAS Preparation
  • General Ledger 
  • Receivables/Payables 
  • Experience with all business compliances

Qualities and Abilities: 

  • High attention to detail, well organised with the ability to prioritise.
  • Polite, articulate, confident and efficient telephone manner is essential.
  • A bright personality and a courteous, pleasant and professional manner, with excellent people skills.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently is important, and being able to keep your composure under pressure.
  • Must be proficient in English, Grammar and Maths and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • The ability to follow instructions with a genuine interest in listening and responding to staff and customer needs. 
  • Good attendance and punctuality record.
  • Honest, ethical and dependable
  • A good team worker willing to work hard, help out wherever needed, and maintain a cheery disposition with a positive, flexible attitude.
  • The ability to efficiently prioritise a significant work flow and maintain a cheery disposition.
  • A current Drivers Licence and your own vehicle.
