Bookkeeper
Broome Turf Club are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent part time basis, working between 10-40 hours per week.
Duties Include:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Payroll - All aspects
- Reconciliation of bank accounts including credit cards
- Completion and lodgement of monthly Instalment Activity Statements and quarterly Business Activity Statements
- Assist with collation of information for twice yearly audits
- Processing of relevant journal entries when required
- Preparation of weekly financial reports
Required Skills:
- Advanced MYOB skills and experience are a must
- Willingness to adapt to the needs of the business
- A proactive, capable, and helpful attitude
- Comprehensive experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll
- Proficient in Microsoft products, including Excel and Word
- Eye for detail and high level of organisation
- Ability to work in a small team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise your daily responsibilities
- You will need to be able to work autonomously and be self-motivated, as well as work in line with the business.
- This position will require some periods of full time work; the successful applicant must be available to work on school holidays and additional days when required.
