Direct Care Resources, a leading south-east Queensland care provider requires a highly motivated, experienced and professional Bookkeeper to join our Finance team.

About the role:
- Accounts Payable and associated tasks including invoice processing and EFT payments
- Accounts Receivable and associated tasks including Invoice processing and receipting
- Prepare, maintain and reconcile records of income and expenditure
- Data Entry and maintenance of various client databases; including but not limited to, daily reconciliation, payroll functions, handling debtors and creditors, following up payments
- Budgeting
- Month end or period end process including Bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation and journal entries processing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in MYOB
- Preparing ad hoc reports as required
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Book Keeper
- Experience dealing with NDIS and associated accounting systems preferred but not essential
- Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to prioritise your workload with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work productively and effective in a team
- Strong attention to detail
