Your New Role:

Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for in house bookkeeper and office administrator to join our dynamic construction team. You will utilize your bookkeeping experience and will working closely with the rest of our team at our office reception.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable/receivable; ensure receivables are collected promptly.
  • Full function payroll for 15+ employee including time sheet reporting, analysis, entitlement records and payroll process.
  • QuickBooks Online experience coupled with good Excel skills
  • Weekly cash in /cash out reports including projects budget.
  • Progress Weekly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Expense checking and reimbursement.
  • Prepare and pay superannuation.
  • General ledger maintenance and reconciliations (periodic and year end)
  • Quarterly BAS reporting to external accountant.
  • Telephone reception - customer and supplier liaison.
  • Materials order placement and delivery management.
  • Delivery docket checking and verification to invoice. 
  • General administrative duties.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Minimum 5 years Bookkeeping/account experience with a Construction/Building company.
  • Administration experience within an office environment. 
  • Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills to be responsible for many different tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent typing skills 
  • Experience in property/construction preferred but not necessary
