With a combined experience of over 50 years in Garden and Garden related products, Takasho Australasia has developed a very good understanding of what consumers in our market are looking for.

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director you will provide bookkeeping services and office administration duties to ensure efficient and effective finance operations to support the achievement of business goals.  

This is a Casual role approx. 22-30 hours a week with a view to go Full time in within 12 months. We are in transition moving from “Open Bravo” to “Xero” within the next 3-6 months. We need you to assist us over to Xero and in return we will assist you in “Open Bravo” Win win.

You are a team player, no job is too small. You'll be part of a friendly small team who all support each other.

Duties

  • Management and preparation of monthly accounts including statements and invoices to clients
  • Provide a range of regular financial reports meeting all statutory and internal deadlines
  • Prepare budgets, P&L’s, cash flow analysis and balance sheets
  • Work closely with the external accountant on all finance matters
  • Identify further efficiencies towards enhancing the current systems and processes

About You

  • Minimum 3+ yrs experience in a Bookkeeping/Office Administrator role
  • Have relevant qualifications in Bookkeeping, accounting or Business
  • Technically strong and enjoy being a hands-on operator
  • Quick and proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication, time management and eye for detail
