The Organisation

Pace Appointments is a niche, privately owned specialist search and recruitment company experiencing year on year growth. As a specialist agency that is respected for its intimate industry relationships and expert knowledge we are now looking to add to our already highly successful team. Based in Brisbane’s inner northern suburb of Hamilton we value work/life balance, flexibility and a positive, tight-knit office culture. Due to recent expansion, we currently require the services of an experienced bookkeeper/accounts manager.
  
The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the full accounts function of the Brisbane office. Specific duties will include temporary contractor and permanent staff payroll, credit control, AP / AR,  BAS preparation and lodgement, PAYG lodgements, bank reconciliations, commission calculations, tax return prep and various other duties as required. There will be a very thorough handover from the current interstate accounts department, allowing you to take genuine ownership of the role moving forward and really make it your own. It will be an approximately thirty hour per week role and the directors will be very flexible re days/hours of work etc and potential WFH arrangements.
  
The Individual

The directors are looking to speak with a highly experienced bookkeeper/accounts manager who has strong experience obtained within a services based environment. You will have extensive MYOB experience and be an excellent multi-tasker who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. While not essential, experience within a recruitment environment is absolutely ideal.
