What you’ll do 

The purpose of the Business Analyst is to support the Procurement systems & process transformation initiative and contribute to the successful implementation of Tabcorp’s new Source to Pay transformation initiative within the Procurement Centre of Excellence project.  Duties include:

  • Primary business analyst with end-to-end responsibility of the delivery of the Source to Pay transformation
  • Acting as a SME to ensure the successful implementation of systems to support the Source to Pay transformation.
  • Support category design, content management, master data management and all work packages identified as part of the transformation initiative.
  • Develop, lead and execute the initiatives Master Data Strategy, levering off the existing BAU Data Strategy focused on readiness activities for project data activities.
  • Work with and maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement better practice procurement processes, tools and templates to improve the Procurement function’s performance and strategic value.
  • Develop Procurement reporting and insights capabilities.
  • Ensure that with systems go-live, that all data (specifically contracts data and vendor master) required to support operation has been operationalised across all relevant systems in a consistent and effective manner.

 *This is a 12 month fixed-term contract


What you’ll bring
 

  • Sound experience with procurement processes and systems experience, is essential.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office – specifically Excel skills, are critical to your success in this role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Visio would be highly advantageous.
  • Must have extensive expert knowledge of, and ability in, the use of Procurement technology and integrated systems.
  • Strong level of personal organisation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across the organisation, build strong partnerships and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and oral with the ability to communicate with people across all levels.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple assignments promptly and effectively and to direct staff.
