Job description:

The Role
As a member of our tight-knit Business Performance Team, the purpose of the role is to use your blend of communication, data & technical skills to alleviate technical debt, build robust solutions (Tableau & SQL), build models that facilitate scenario analysis, analyse performance and identify insights to support Property Claims business decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse data in the context of the business environment to provide insight into and / or recommendations for key stakeholders
• Automate and streamline reporting / analytical processes
• Undertake ad hoc analysis and modelling as required to support business initiatives
• Provide reports and insights that enable a clear, fact-based view of ‘performance' to inform Property STC decision-making.
• Build models that facilitate scenario modelling to support decisions related to business process / model re-engineering
• Measure and evaluate core operational data and service performance to identify process improvement opportunities and efficiencies and to drive innovation in support of the financial year commercial, TCE and service targets.

 

Skills & Experience

• Ability to interpret numerical data and clearly communicate the interpretation
• Strong capability and experience in SQL 
• Experience in Tableau & Excel desirable
• Able to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members
• Can work independently but thrives in an empowered team environment
• Qualification/s (or experience) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computing or related fields
