Job description:

  • Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane 
  • 12-month Max-Term opportunity Flexible working arrangement
  • Direct Insurance Australia

 

The Role
Based within our Property Business Performance team, you will be partnering with our Insurance Supply Chain team in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment. The purpose of this 12-month contract role is to use your blend of communication, data & technical skills to build robust solutions (Excel, Tableau & SQL), analyse performance and identify insights to support business and project decision making.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reports and insights that enable a clear, fact-based view of ‘performance' to inform Supply Chain and project decision-making.
  • Analyse data in the context of the business environment to provide insight into and / or recommendations for key stakeholders
  • Undertake analysis and scenario modelling as required to support business and project initiatives
  • Automate and streamline reporting / analytical processes

 

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to interpret numerical data and clearly communicate the interpretation
  • Experience with SQL & Tableau, Access & Excel
  • Strong ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members
  • Can work independently but thrives in an empowered team environment
  • Qualification/s in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computing or related fields well regarded
