The Opportunity

Our client is a Boutique Accounting firm based in Mount Gravatt on the Southside of Brisbane. They offer Tax and Business Advisory solutions to clients from a range of industries. 

Ideally, our clients a seeking to bring on an experienced Accountant with at least 4-6 years experience who ideally can speak Mandarin or Cantonese. As an accountant in this firm you will be responsible for compliance and be trained in advisory and client management. 

The Role

As a Business Services Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of SME clients along with reviewing the work of Graduate Accountants. You will enjoy working in a corporate and professional environment, whilst enjoying work-life balance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing Tax Returns and Financial Statements for SME Clients. 
• Calculating FBT, Division 7a, CGT and Payroll Tax
• Communicating with clients and providing support to Directors with Advisory duties
• Utilising Software including MYOB, Handisoft, Sage, Xero, BGL and BGL 360 

About You

• Completed CA or CPA Studies
• At least 4-6 years’ experience in an Australian Public Practice Firm
• Cantonese or Mandarin speaking 
• Exposure to Accounting software including Handisoft, MYOB and Xero
• Ability to met KPIs and achieve a high productivity rate
• 10/10 verbal and written communication skills and strong ability to liaise with all stakeholders
